Antique Edwardian pendant featuring three beautiful faceted garnets set in 15ct gold. This ornate hollow puffed heart has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in Chester, in 1901 set in 15ct gold. The pendant is styled on a new 9ct gold chain.
Garnet gemstones are the birthstone of Janaury. The beautiful stones have been extremely popular since the 18th and 19th century, the gemstones are the ideal gem for that extravagant effect. Victorian garnets were faceted and clustered together for maximum effect, they are very romantic.
